A Legacy of Service
Our Story
Award-Winning, Tallahassee Senior Living
For more than 70 years, Westminster Communities of Florida has been inspiring older adults to enjoy happy, healthy, and purposeful lives. Established in 1954, we share a faith-based legacy with the Presbyterian church and are open and welcoming to people with diverse beliefs, backgrounds, and abilities. Today we are Florida’s largest not-for-profit senior living provider. Westminster Oaks opened in 1982 and is our largest community, proudly serving 750 seniors in Tallahassee.
As a Life Plan or continuing care retirement community, Westminster Oaks offers rewarding independent living with quality health services if ever needed. We proudly hold a Newsweek Best Continuing Care Retirement Community designation, while our rehabilitation and nursing center holds 5 stars from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a Joint Commission Gold Seal for National Quality Approval, and is a U.S. News & World Report “Best” for Long-Term Care.
