Re: COVID-19
Dear Residents, Family Members and Staff,
First, we want to acknowledge and thank each of you for the concern and support you are showing for each other during this unprecedented time in recent history. Clearly, the vast majority of you are actively cooperating with federal and state healthcare directives and advice. Westminster’s response to this crisis has been immediate, strong, and focused on your health and wellbeing. Our goal is to keep you from getting sick.
We appreciate that employees are taking personal responsibility for self-screening prior to coming to work, and holding each other accountable for reporting to work healthy and risk-free. Westminster is actively supporting our staff in this effort.
We are grateful that residents and family members have been willing to change lifestyles and plans for the benefit of all, such as cancelling trips and group events, and forgoing visits to family and friends in assisted living and our health centers. While it is unrealistic to think that we would all agree that all these measures are necessary, you have been willing to flex and cooperate, and for that, we give thanks.
We commit to you to do our very best to keep our communities healthy through this crisis. In this spirit, we will follow the safety directives of the CDC and Department of Health. If you have comments or suggestions, we encourage you to bring them to your community management as quickly as possible.
Sincerely,Roger A. Stevens, CEO
