Westminster Communities of Florida thanks you for your dedicated service to the church. We’re proud of our faith-based heritage, created by the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1954, and we honor that heritage for retired clergy and church professionals from many denominations through our Honorable Service Grants. Whether you served as a pastor or minister, missionary or Christian educator, or you’re the spouse or surviving spouse, we want to help you enjoy the active lifestyle and assurance of living at a Westminster community.
We offer a grant of up to 10 percent ($15,000 maximum) toward the Entrance Fee for a residence at any of our Life Plan Communities throughout the state. Choose to live on the waterfront, on quiet suburban streets, nestled amid gardens or woods, or in the heart of it all: There’s a Westminster community that’s right for you, with active living and an emphasis on wellness and lifelong learning. You’ll love access to services and amenities like restaurant-style dining, housekeeping and more, plus the assurance of supportive services available if needed.
To apply, you must:
- Be 62 years of age;
- Have 10 years of full-time paid service or 20 years of part-time paid service to the Church; OR
- Have 10 years (full-time/full-term) of service to Westminster Communities of Florida as a retired Team Member or Member of the Board of Directors
