For more than 70 years, Westminster Communities of Florida has been inspiring older adults to enjoy happy, healthy, and purposeful lives. We share a faith-based legacy with the Presbyterian church and are proud to be open and welcoming to people of diverse beliefs and backgrounds. Today, we are the state’s largest not-for-profit senior living provider. Westminster Towers affiliated with Westminster Communities of Florida in 1980 and is home to approximately 325 residents.

As a Life Plan or continuing care retirement community, Westminster Towers offers active, independent living with a continuum for future peace of mind. Westminster Towers is recognized as a Newsweek Best Continuing Care Retirement Community and earned two Choice Awards from a national resident satisfaction ranking organization. In addition, our rehabilitation and nursing center holds 5 stars from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a Joint Commission Gold Seal of National Quality Approval, and is a U.S. News & World Report “Best” for Short Term Rehab and Long-Term Care.

As a not-for-profit organization, our main focus is on residents, not shareholders. This means that instead of distributing earnings to investors, we reinvest all financial gains directly back into our communities. This funding goes toward enhancing resident services, upgrading our facilities, and developing new well-being programs. One of the most important differences between Westminster Communities of Florida and our for-profit competitors is the Benevolent Assistance Program. Residents who join us through a Life Plan contract qualify for financial assistance to remain in their home should they outlive their resources through no fault of their own. Benevolent assistance at CCRCs provides priceless peace of mind and long-term financial security. We also offer special grants and awards for church and public service to assist new residents with their move.
