We are thankful to have weathered Hurricane Milton at our evacuation sites. Everyone is safe and doing well. Our first priority is always the safety and well-being of our residents and team members.
We do not have power or water services at this time. We are actively working with Duke Energy and LeadingAge Southeast on power restoration.
Independent Living residents should stay at their evacuation sites if it is safe for them to do so. While power has been restored, we do not have potable water, roads in the area may be dangerous, and services are very limited.
As of today, residents in Assisted Living and Nursing Care who were staying at Legacy Pointe, Mease Manor and Orlando Lutheran Towers have returned to the community. Some residents will be staying at Westminster Lakeland and Westminster Baldwin Park, or moving to Westminster Point Pleasant, for residents’ continued safety and comfort while we work to restore power and water services.
