Hurricane Updates for Westminster Palms

Westminster Palms and Westminster Communities of Florida are closely monitoring Hurricane Milton, and our top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and team members. We are actively planning and preparing for the storm and are taking all necessary precautions. We will provide updates as they become available and throughout the storm.

  • We continue to prepare for the effects of Hurricane Milton on our community. We are under an evacuation order for Zones A, B and C as ordered by Pinellas County. Assisted Living residents are now on their way to Westminster Winter Park, and Nursing Care residents have now arrived at Westminster Lakeland. Independent Living residents are strongly urged to leave the community and put their plans in place as soon as possible. We will continue to update as more information becomes available.

  • We are actively planning and preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Milton. Pinellas County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for certain low-lying areas, including Westminster Palms. We are currently preparing to evacuate today. All Assisted Living residents will be relocating to Westminster Winter Park. All Health Center residents will be relocating to Westminster Lakeland. We will remain at our evacuation sites until advised that it is safe to return home. We will continue to follow the recommendations of the National Hurricane Center and Pinellas County emergency management office, and continue to update with any new developments.

  • We are actively planning and preparing for Hurricane Milton. Pinellas County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for low-lying areas in Zones A, B and C, including our community. Independent Living residents are urged to evacuate as soon as possible. We are actively working on finalizing evacuation plans for Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents and will provide further updates. We will remain at our evacuation sites until advised that it is safe to return home. We will continue to follow the recommendations of the National Hurricane Center and continue to update with any new developments.
