Westminster Manor and Westminster Communities of Florida are closely monitoring Hurricane Milton, and our top priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and team members. We are actively planning and preparing for the storm and are taking all necessary precautions. We will provide updates as they become available and throughout the storm.

We are thankful to begin recovering from the effects of Hurricane Milton. We have completed the return of all Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents from their evacuation sites.
Independent Living residents may return to the community. Some services may be temporarily limited while we work to remediate storm damage and restore the community back to normal. As of Monday, the only dining services available in the Shores Building are resident pick-up at the Open Hearth. Full dining services are offered in Cafe Riverview.

We are also pleased that Independent Living residents may return to the community now that power and water have been restored. Some services may be temporarily limited while we work to restore life at the community to normal.

As of this evening, the evacuation order by Manatee County has been lifted. The community has power and water, and life safety equipment is functional. We are currently planning for Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents to return from their evacuation sites tomorrow.

We are continuing to evaluate damage that may have been caused by Hurricane Milton to our community. All of the Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents who evacuated are doing well, and we thank the team members throughout the organization who are hard at work to support them. Spirits are high among team members and residents. Thank you to all of the communities who are hosting us during our evacuation.

Our community is still under evacuation order by Manatee County. Bridges and roads are still closed and much of the surrounding area has suffered significant storm damage. Manatee County is still under a flood advisory until this evening. At this time we must remain at our evacuation sites until it is safe to return home.

Our community is still under evacuation order by St. Johns County. Bridges and roads are still closed and there is a risk of continued flooding due to rain and high tides. At this time we must remain at our evacuation sites until it is safe to return home.
The Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents who evacuated with us are doing well. Spirits are high among residents and team members, and we have power and supplies. We are thankful to those who are assisting us: Westminster St. Augustine, Penney Retirement Community in Green Cove Springs and The Ponce Therapy Care Center in St. Augustine.

We are prepared for the arrival of Hurricane Milton. Our community is under mandatory evacuation order, and all Assisted Living and Nursing Care residents have arrived at their evacuation sites at Westminster Lakeland, Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee, Westminster Towers in Orlando, Westminster Winter Park and Westminster Baldwin Park, Oak Hammock in Gainesville and Orlando Lutheran Towers. Everyone is doing well.

Westminster Bradenton continues to prepare for the effects of Hurricane Milton on our two neighborhoods. We are under an evacuation order for Zones A and B as ordered by Manatee County.
Assisted Living residents are sheltering from the storm at Westminster Towers in Orlando and Westminster Lakeland. Nursing Care residents are at Westminster Towers, Westminster Winter Park, Orlando Lutheran Towers and Oak Hammock in Gainesville.
Independent Living residents are strongly urged to evacuate as soon as possible, as both the Point Pleasant Neighborhood and Manor Neighborhood are in mandatory evacuation zones. Elevators will be locked as of 12 p.m. today.
