ORLANDO, March 31, 2026 — Westminster Communities of Florida is proud to announce the promotion of Amanda Birch to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective April 1, 2026. In this executive leadership role, Amanda will oversee the strategic direction of human resources, talent management, and organizational culture for the organization’s mission-driven workforce.
Birch, who previously served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, has been a driving force behind enhancing training and educational opportunities, workplace culture initiatives, and the team member experience. Her tenure at Westminster is marked by a diverse range of leadership roles, including Executive Director and Director of Culture and Mission Integration. This breadth of experience provides her with a unique perspective on supporting the dedicated individuals who serve older adults across the state.
As CHRO, Birch will lead large-scale initiatives including the evolution of comprehensive benefit programs, integrated retirement plans, and the implementation of innovative HR technology. Her focus remains steadfast on cultivating a supportive, growth-oriented environment that empowers team members to thrive.
“Amanda’s promotion to Chief Human Resources Officer is a natural and strategic step,” said Hank Keith, Westminster Communities of Florida’s Chief Executive Officer. “Her deep understanding of our mission and proven ability to lead and inspire team members while driving innovation make her the ideal leader as we look toward the future of our organization.”
Birch holds an MBA from the University of Lynchburg and a bachelor’s degree in long-term health care management from Virginia Commonwealth University. She also maintains her SPHR and SHRM-CP certifications, reflecting her commitment to excellence in the field of human resources.
“My vision for the future is rooted in a simple belief: when we care for one another, invest in growth, and lead with empathy, we create a culture where people truly thrive,” Birch said. “Guided by this vision, I am deeply committed to building a people-centered culture where every one of our more than 2,500 team members feels valued, supported, and empowered to do meaningful work. I am honored to help shape a future where our people and our mission continue to grow together.”
