Established in 1954, Westminster Communities of Florida has grown into the state’s largest not-for-profit senior living provider. Today, our continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in Florida and affordable housing apartments serve more than 10,000 seniors.

Westminster Communities of Florida shares a faith-based heritage with the Presbyterian church and is proud to be an organization that is open and welcoming to people with diverse beliefs, backgrounds, and abilities.

We are proud to hold an A- rating from Fitch Ratings on our bonds. Among the nation’s continuing care retirement, or Life Plan, communities, less than 20 percent meet Fitch’s stringent criteria and of those, only a select few are in the A range.

For more than 70 years we have provided quality senior living in Florida, successfully growing our Mission to serve older adults from a wide range of backgrounds and income levels.

As a not-for-profit organization, Westminster Communities of Florida reinvests all earnings above operating costs back into our communities. These annual, multi-million dollar investments take many forms, including residence, building, and grounds maintenance, life-enriching programs and services, as well as the addition of amenities.
