Westminster Canterbury is actively preparing for the arrival of Hurricane Milton this evening. Volusia County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for certain low-lying areas, including our community, effective 8 a.m. this morning. We are preparing to evacuate immediately. A curfew will be in effect at 8 p.m. Residents are urged evacuate as soon as possible and stay with family or friends or at a county-operated shelter. Our team members will be completing preparations and evacuating the community as soon as possible for their safety. We will continue to follow the recommendations of the National Hurricane Center and continue to update with any new developments.
