Whether that’s yoga or strength training with our certified senior wellness staff, lifelong learning, brushing up on your painting skills, enjoying the performing arts, gardening, golfing, or fishing, you will find it here and more.
 
															The Health Benefits of Community
									Research continues to highlight the positive effects of connected and engaged living on wellness. In 2017, the Mather Institute partnered with Northwestern University to launch a five-year study involving 8,000 older adults, aimed at measuring the impact of Life Plan communities. The study revealed:								
				- Residents consistently demonstrated higher levels of wellness—physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and vocationally—compared to individuals not living in Life Plan communities.
- Participants experienced a marked increase in social interaction and mental stimulation relative to their non-Life Plan counterparts.
